Finding Adventure and Empowerment in Climate Change Books

Hi there! I’m Aaron Arsenault, a writer, a dad, and a passionate advocate for our planet. Before diving into the world of children’s books, I spent years working in the climate-tech industry. Witnessing the challenges firsthand sparked a deep concern, but also a powerful desire to create positive change.

One day, I realized there was a gap on my bookshelf – a lack of engaging fiction books about climate change for kids. Stories that could educate them about the issue, but also empower them to make a difference. Stories that reflected the wonder and importance of the natural world, a place my family cherishes and actively protects.

That’s how my journey as an author of middle-grade climate fiction began.

About me

I’m a citizen of Mother Earth. Before writing books I worked in the climate-tech industry for a long time with some big companies you would definitely recognize. I’m also a concerned dad.

Helping kids defeat climate anxiety and develop more empowering beliefs about climate change inspired me to become an author of middle grade climate fiction. I deeply love natural world and want to help protect it! For my family, it plays a big part in how we live.
